On the Road

Things that I learned on my trip to Texas:

1. Sonic
• Commercials are completely erroneous! It isn't a drive-thru as portrayed, but a freaking DRIVE IN! Totally different!
• Also see Kizzle below.
2. Arkansas
• Apparently if you rearrange the letter in it you will get shithole.
• Anyone ever notice that it can be split into Ar - Kansas. Hmmmm.
• The ratio of standing billboards to not is really very unfavorable.
  
3. Lonanoke
• Pronounced like Roanoke, except with an "L"
• Town in Arkansas with nothing in it.
• Not particularly impressed by their cleanliness.
4. Kizzle
• Actual name of worker at Sonic.
• Idiot.
• Cannot understand how to work a credit card.
• Everything henceforth blamed on him.
5. Garmin
• Is not God.
• When it tells you to turn off the beaten path for no good reason, ignore.
• It will recalculate.
• Do not rely on it.
  
6. Carefree Inn
• Do not stay at.
• Icemaker is out in parking lot.
7. La Quinta
• Only hotel I know of that I wasn't afraid of the sheets
8. Construction workers wear cowboy hats....enough said
